Yes, it’s a computer keyboard that allows you to type in Klingon!

Up to now, anyone who has bothered to learn Klingon may have been frustrated at the difficulty of penning Klingon poetry or writing long essays on Klingon culture in the language itself. Well, fret no further! From technology company Cherry comes this black PC keyboard that you can switch to Klingon alphabet mode, though it doesn’t seem to feature Klingon numerals.

The product was originally released as a marketing gimmick, but as there has been some interest from dedicated Trek fans, the product is now available to buy, albeit in limited numbers. And don’t worry - it also functions as a conventional keyboard.

Apparently Romulan and Vulcan language keyboards will follow. James Skipp
