TV episode review
US airdate 3 December 2007 (NBC)

Sylar forces Mohinder to help him obtain a cure for the virus that has deprived him of his powers, while Matt reports to Angela that he found Victoria Pratt’s body. Nathan, in disgust at the older generation’s activities, assists Matt as he goes after Adam and Peter. In other events, Claire decides to expose the Company, and Micah and Niki have to go save Monica…

An explosive episode – metaphorically speaking (there is nothing to match the concluding sequences of season 1) – and one that has some really great ‘whoah!’ moments. In fact, it’s jam packed with them!

This episode is so fast paced that it’s difficult to believe that this season has been so slow up to now. They make you wait, then everything happens at once! The character changes that are seemingly on the cards for any future episodes are not necessarily the ones I hoped for, but they do provide a few shocks.

Oh well, overall it’s still great enough to make the earlier flaws forgivable. Hopefully, there will be a season three with a lot of chances to rectify the mistakes: the coda at the end of this episode is certainly mouth-watering enough. Brigid Cherry
