TV episode review
US premiere 22 October 2007 (NBC)

Nathan volunteers to help find Matt’s father in order to save Molly. Mohinder is not reassured, and with Noah out of the country, he takes Molly to Bob’s clinic – where Niki is also being treated. Meanwhile, the repercussions of Monica’s manifesting powers are not entirely positive, and Peter is being hunted by a mysterious blonde woman…

The best bits of this episode are just about enough to keep you watching Heroes – in particular, there are some effective scenes of Matt and Nathan trapped in nightmares. The scenes are menacing and a little bit gruesome, and although the ‘Nightmare Man’s’ con isn’t exactly unexpected, it does make for a stunning moment or two.

It is also good to see Ando taking some affirmative action as he gets the scrolls in Kensei’s sword translated – although these scenes do seem all too brief. Elsewhere, the Ireland storyline finally seems to be going somewhere at last, though not somewhere especially interesting. These developments are presumably building up towards big things - hopefully we’ll get to those big things before much longer. Brigid Cherry
