Lennie James is moving from Jericho to the unnamed Village in the remake of classic 1960s series The Prisoner.

British actor James will play Number 147, one of the residents of the Village where Number 6, played by Jim Caviezel, wakes to find himself imprisoned.

Other new residents for the Village include Jane Eyre star Ruth Wilson, Brideshead Revisited and Radio 7 Doctor Who guest star Hayley Atwell, and Sweeney Todd's Jamie Campbell Bower.

The Prisoner is currently shooting in North Africa for a 2009 broadcast.
