Michael Apted's The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the third film adapted from C.S. Lewis' Narnia series, will shoot at the Baja Studios in Mexico.

The first two films were largely shot in New Zealand and Prague, but Dawn Treader requires several large soundstages and a massive water tank for the numerous sequences set at sea. Baja Studios previously provided facilities for Titanic, Deep Blue Sea and Master And Commander.

Location sequences will still be filmed in Australia as originally planned. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was expected to start production in October, but this has been pushed back to January 2009.

Composer Harry Gregson-Williams has confirmed to Ain't It Cool News that he won't be scoring the third film, with David Arnold taking over musical duties for Dawn Treader.
