Visitors to the Star Wars Celebration Japan, opening on July 19th, will have a chance to see new footage from the much-anticipated Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie a month before its worldwide debut.

Director Dave Filoni will be a special guest at the Celebration, and promises to bring "fascinating new insight into the development of the first-ever Star Wars animated movie." Filoni will be joined by Japanese animator Atsushi Takeuchi, best known for his work on Ghost in the Shell and The Sky Crawlers, who has directed one of the TV episodes in the Clone Wars series.

Other guests at the event include Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels.
