The American autumn TV schedules are becoming clearer as the networks give their "upfront" presentations in New York this week.

The CW has given a last minute reprieve to Reaper, whose fate was undecided until Monday night. The series has received a 13 episode midseason renewal, allowing it to try to increase its ratings beyond its fan appeal.
