Steven Moffat's Blink, the "Doctor-light" episode from Doctor Who's third season, has been honoured at the BAFTA Craft Awards.

Moffat won the Best Writer Award, beating off competition from Tony Marchant, Jimmy McGovern and Heidi Thomas. The script is also up for a Hugo Award later this summer.

In other categories, The Mill's effects for Voyage of the Damned were beaten by Jellyfish Pictures' Fight for Life, while Adrian Johnston's score for Capturing Mary defeated Murray Gold's music for the third season. The interactive and sound teams were similarly unlucky this year.
